Girl Scouts of the Missouri Heartland: Camp Finbrooke – Bridge Repair

The hanging bridge over the river at our waterfront is in need of repair. This project will need an experienced crew, with equipment. There will be work involving moving dirt and installing new wood.
Help us build girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place! Our outdoor program pillar is an essential part of the Girl Scout Leadership Experience – and we can’t get camp ready for next year without YOU! We work hard on Day of Caring to make sure you know how appreciated you are – especially when it comes to feeding you. Come enjoy the beauty of the outdoors, our Girl Scout hospitality, and change the lives of girls in our community.
For this project, you’ll want to wear clothing that you don’t mind getting messy in. The area is shaded woods. Dress for the weather, and bring bug spray.
