Least Of These goal is to provide human dignity to those in need by supplying families with hygiene and personal care items.
33% of low-income families, who are unable to afford basic household necessities, report bathing without soap-unable to afford it. Unfortunately, government help, such as food stamps, does not cover the cost of personal care and hygiene items, leaving these people no way to obtain items often take for granted, such as deodorant, laundry detergent, and dish soap.
Your business/organization can collect the 6 personal care and hygiene items that Least Of These needs, as a team as a virtual volunteer opportunity for Day of Caring this year. A Least Of These staff member can come to your business to pick up the items or you can send a team member from your organization to drop them off at Least Of These on a Tuesday or Thursday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Hygiene Items to Collect:
• 4 pack of toilet paper
• Bar of Soap ( Individually wrapped)
• Deodorant
• Dish Soap
• Incontinence briefs (Men’s & Women’s)
• Toothpaste
