Red Cross: Helping Children Impacted by Disaster – Comfort Kit Supply Drive

When Red Cross volunteers respond to those who have lost everything in a home fire, storm, or flood we provide the children of our clients with a Comfort Kit of personal hygiene items and a few special gifts. You can help bring comfort to your neighbors in need by collecting these items. Can your team help us replenish our supply of children’s comfort kits? If you would like we will even provide the bags for these Kits so that you can put them together during the Day of Caring. Below is a list of needed supplies and all can be purchased in smaller sizes:

• Children’s toothbrush
• Children’s toothpaste
• Children’s Shampoo/Conditioner (2-in-1)
• Children’s Body Wash
• Hairbrush/comb
• Washcloth
• Coloring books
• Crayons (small box)
• Stuffed animal (small)
