Victory Mission: Warehouse Inventory
June 17 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pmFree
Yearly, Victory Mission provides a warehouse inventory for best practices. We are seeking a self-motivated team to break into small groups and note the items, amount, and weight of a variety of objects in our warehouse with the supervision of warehouse staff.
Our warehouse is an integral part of our workforce development training within Victory Mission’s Restoration Program, which is our 12-month discipleship for those coming from homelessness, poverty, prison, and/or addiction. The funds that we make from the selling/repurposing of our donated goods is a substantial blessing to our program members, and assists with fees.
Skills: Counting, attention to detail, weight estimation, standing for multiple hours. We will also be shredding documents.
Our warehouse is located at (700 W Chase St, Springfield, MO 65803). Parking is up along the Chase St. side of the warehouse, and some accompanying companies allow us to utilize their parking; please follow direction provided day-of by staff members.
This project will take place indoors, though our warehouse does tend to reflect outside temperatures (slightly cooler or warmer, etc.) Please dress accordingly and wear clothes/shoes you don’t mind getting a little dirty. We will provide a full tour of the warehouse, and full tour of our facilities can happen if requested.
If completed early, there will be another warehouse-based task assigned to the group until the allotted time passes.
Thank you so much for your consideration!
